and some really great customized bicycles - if it has wheels and you'd
like to show it off, we'll make room for it. Entries will be judged and
cool one-of-a-kind trophies awarded by independent judges. Auto
trophies will include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (overall), plus Best of the

Entry Fees (click here for a printable entry form)
Show 'n Shine - $20.00 per vehicle, includes dash plaque
and admission for driver and passenger.
All entrants will be given a number upon payment of entry fee. You
may pre-pay and your number will be set aside for pickup upon your
arrival. Payment is by check, cash or money order made
out to the Benton City Spring Opener. Because we have had long lines
and wait times at the entry gate, we STRONGLY encourage entrants to
pre-register. In doing so, it saves you from having to wait in line to
enter the grounds.
Vendor Fees (click here for a printable application form)
Special
Note for Vendors: This
Show is to help our youth help themselves wherein they host a booth to
raise funds for their particular group. No vendor may "GIVE
AWAY" free food to the public except as single bite size samples.
The vendor can donate the food to
any Youth Group to sell to help the group and promote work ethics for
the group.
Vendor spaces are 10' x 10' with spaces available on
either grass or asphalt. The asphalt spaces are very limited. We will
try, in as much as we can, to accomodate a vendors request for locating
their spots.
However, all spaces are allocated on a 1st come and paid for basis. NOTE: Checks and money orders must clear our bank BEFORE we allow vendors to
operate. The exception being previous vendors in good standing.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Businesses and crafters $30.00
Food vendors $90.00 - NOTE: You will be requested to show a current Health Permit at the show before we allow a setup.
Non-profit vendors/Resource Fair
participants - no charge.

2012 Sponsors

| We are proud to announce we have some wonderful sponsors. The Port of Benton has been an ongoing Sponsor for this event for the past 6 years. In addition to this, the Port has been a partner in developing properties within Benton City to allow incubator businesses to move into. The Port developments are truly a 1st class operation. | ![]() |
2012 Platinum Sponsor |
| Since the inception of this
venue, we've had one sponsor that has been constant and a Godsend for the event. That sponsor is
Able
Tank & Toilet. Able is a division of Basin Disposal located in Pasco, Wa. They provide enough units to support the show and are the cleanest units you've ever seen. Plus they have handicap access. We highly recommend them if you need units for your events.

About the
Spring Opener
Benton City's eighth annual Spring Opener Car and Bike Show is brought to you through the cooperation of many of our community civic organizations. The proceeds of this year's non-profit show will be used to help support youth activities in the community. We will continue the show each year as a way to raise funds for different projects that provide for the community in whole. The Spring Opener is also part of the Yakima Valley's Spring Fling Festival celebration. We're looking forward to seeing you here.
